Originally from Spain, I arrived in 1981 to study acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. Graduated in 1985 from the AmerAsian Institute (Wailuku, Maui), and continued studies at the Tai Hsuan Foundation (Honolulu, Oahu), earning a Diplomate in Acupuncture (1986).

Member of the NCCAOM (National Comission for the Certification of Acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine) since 1987, I completed a three month advanced acupuncture training in Beijing, People's Republic of China in 1988 . Besides a short three year interval in which I worked in Clinics in Spain and Gibraltar (1996 to 1999) have been practicing Oriental Medicine, with an emphasis in Acupuncture in Hawaii (Big Island and Oahu).

I have also worked in interdisciplinary settings, as independent contractor at Tripler Army Medical Center of the Pacific, Honolulu, HI (2010-2012) and at Holistic Psych Center in Honolulu, HI (2000-2020).

In August 2018 passed the Oregon Medical Boards license requirements for the practice of acupuncture (#188776) in that state.

Since 2020 have been studying and now primarily practice Kiiko Matsumoto Style Acupuncture  (KMS)  a unique Japanese style acupuncture system taught by Kiiko Matsumoto Sensei and her         protege Monika Kobylecka. 

I co-founded, co-owned and currently practice in The Lotus Clinic, Kailua, Windward side of Oahu since 1999.
